I am a young professional with a successful record of embracing new challenges. I was born and raised in Texas and ever since I was a little girl my ambition level has not changed, only grown with eagerness. I have had a passion for The Fine Arts and Communication and embraced that passion by entering several drawing competitions embraced challenges for my hobbies and carried that passion and love for art and displayed talent in several art contest, after winning a few of those contest I entered a Regional competition involving three different states in the arts an design initially through Jack n Jill Inc. which I placed 2nd place in. Moving forward I enrolled at The University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa , Alabama and graduated with a bachelors degree in Arts and Communication with a minor in Psychology. While I was their I took many rigorous courses involving many Computer science courses, Studio art courses, and communication courses. I did so well that I applied and got accepted in the University study abroad program. Going overseas to Italy for a summer and had the opportunity to be an ambassador for my University. With these skills a feel I can adapt well in a professional setting. I also got involved with the college campus and local community through various organizations like NCNW, NAACP, and St. Francis of Assisi Parish Catholic Church. After Graduation I moved back to Dallas and I have had the opportunity to work with companies such as Salespros, Northwood Country Club and PISD. With those companies I have learned how to grow and progress. I'm looking first real job, i will be thank for the oppurtunity.sincerely, Leah Whiting
