I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist and Masters Level Nutritionist working in Private Practice since 2002. I also have spent time integrating these services within Primary Care Medical Setting as well as Cancer Treatment Clinics. My expertise comes from combining these 2 disciplines: psychotherapy and nutrition. I work with a variety of client populations ranging from adolescents to seniors with issues from anxiety/depression/bipolar and other mood disorders. However, I specialize in eating disorders and disordered eating patterns. In addition, I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as holding Certification in YogaFit, Spinning, and CrossFit.Therefore my work often integrates fitness/exercise programming if clients/groups desire.

Coordinated the client support/services program. Created and managed program database. Performed individual and group program orientations. Recruited and fostered new and and current relationships with the program's providers. Performed community outreach. Assisted in organizational fundraising.

Teach for the BSW and MSW programs. Adjunct Faculty in School of Social Work. Taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses from Social Welfare Policy to Advanced Group Practice Techniques.

The purpose behind this endeavor is to bring together my passion for health and wellness, accessing my intellectual and physical skill sets while creating a unique opportunity for people in the community to achieve their wellness goals. Welcome to become fit – an Official Spinning Studio, Sports Yoga Studio, Personal Training Studio, Nutrition/Stress Management Counseling and Corporate Wellness Programming business integrated with a Personal Touch. Our highly educated and trained staff believe in working closely with clients in order to provide each individual with a personal fitness perfected plan. We are not a "gym". We are a comprehensive Wellness Studio with a passionate staff who believes that change is possible. Join us in living life to it's fullest.I created/designed the business concept and now direct/operate all aspects from staff development, program management, marketing and finance. I also continue to teach/personal train/counsel and coach individuals, groups and teams.
