In addition to my duties as associate editor for the magazine, I maintained Review of Optometry and Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses online. I also managed Review of Optometry's social media outlets.

With the new title came editorial responsibilities for Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses as well as expanded duties for Review of Optometry.

As assistant editor of Review of Optometry, my duties included writing the monthly product review and meetings calendar. I also edited regular columns, features, and case reports.

I "soft-sold" Wilton products while teaching class members how to make, ice and decorate gorgeous, show-stopping cakes. Level one courses taught how to properly frost a cake and some lovely buttercream techniques, such as roses, drop flowers, shell borders and writing. Level two courses taught the basketweave and several flower techniques in royal icing..
