UMatter is a national organization, branching from the Friendship Circle, that aims to empower teens to end the stigma surrounding mental health challenges. Operating on a peer-to-peer model during the school year, UMatter hosts a variety of events that encourage teens to overcome mental health obstacles in a safe community. - Expanded and implemented UMatter Weeks in 19 schools, including the organization’s first out-of-state schools and middle schools- Directed a redesigned executive board of 20 members with 4 sub-committees to develop diverse events- Orchestrated a sold-out community event, One Thing I Wish You Knew, with over 700 tickets sold- Showcased UMatter’s importance to over 30 DTE Energy executives to network and share UMatter's resources
