Our award-winning projects include corporate, municipal, institutional, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and a large variety of commercial interiors. I work in building code-regulated interior environments, developing architectural interior plans through comprehensive evaluation, review and analysis of the client's project needs and goals. I work with our clients to engage them in the interior design process, and to offer functional and aesthetic solutions to their interior space challenges. We provide a complete range of interior design services, from concepts through construction documents. My role as a Studio Lead is to market the interior design services of the firm to clients and partners, and to provide guidance to the design team. I strive to be a positive mentor to the interior designers on my team, and to foster a creative and collaborative atmosphere in our design studio.

As President, I lead the Board of Directors as we move through the Chapter year, and provide education, experiences and engagement for Chapter members. Our Strategic Plan, formulated during my tenure as President-Elect, is the Chapter guidebook - defining our goals and the means to achieve them. In keeping with the national organization, our focus for the upcoming year will be to enrich our membership by looking to create more diversity , equity and inclusion in our Wisconsin interior design community.

I was tasked with supporting the President and Chapter Board of Directors in our mission to execute the Chapter Strategic Plan. Additionally, the annual ASID WI Chapter Design Excellence Awards Gala and the ASID WI Government Affairs (legislative advocacy) committees were under my slate of responsibilities.

The committee nominates members to the Board of Directors positions that will be opening up after the current Board year. The Past President is also charged with maintaining the operating budget of the Chapter through a sponsorship campaign to industry partners.

President-ElectAsid Wisconsin Feb 2010 - Sep 2011As President-Elect for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, I was involved in Chapter leadership initiatives, strategies and opportunities that have been ongoing since my election in February of 2010. While learning under the skilled guidance of the Chapter President, I was primarily responsible for the Strategic Planning process for the Chapter's new three year Plan. The process began with the Annual Member Survey, which I created, implemented and analyzed. The Survey results are a key driver of the Chapter's direction, and the organization of the Strategic Planning sessions hinged on inclusion of the issues identified by Members in the Survey. The Strategic Plan is the roadmap for the Chapter, and as the incoming Chapter President, I was charged with the implementation of the Goals and Objectives outlined therein. I am amazed and humbled by the strength and commitment of the Wisconsin Chapter volunteers and Board Directors, and am endeavoring to be worthy of the trust placed in me. I am looking forward to my year as Chapter President, and hope to be an example of energy, enthusiasm and empowerment for the Chapter.

Senior Interior Designer/SalesTechline Madison - Madison, Wisconsin Jan 1991 - May 2005During my time with Techline Madison (now Techline - Workspace Studio) I was responsible for maintaining client relationships, and working with clients to solve their planning and functional needs. That included providing design, specification, sales and logistics of the Techline modular laminate cabinetry product line. I worked with clients to assess their needs, and designed spaces accordingly, utilizing Techline cabinetry as a product solution.
