I started my career with Fleishman-Hillard in Washington, D.C. with a focus on public relations and community outreach. After a number of years in public relations I moved to Penang, Malaysia to focus on business development efforts for KPMG Consulting’s expansion in Southeast Asia. Upon returning to the U.S. I relocated to Chicago and continued a career in marketing, public relations and business development with Ashton Partners, an Investor Relations and Financial Services consulting firm. I then made my way over the extremely fun world of advertising where I had the honor of serving as VP, Director of Business Development and Public Relations at Element 79, a global advertising agency that produced incredible work and incredible people. Making a move from the corporate world, I spent a number of years working in the non-profit sector - working alongside organizations with a focus on youth advocacy, education equality, policy change, and leadership training to grow their reach and impact in their communities. I currently provide freelance marketing support, social media strategy/management, and communication outreach for a number of clients including Village Montessori & Threaded Marketing Group.
