Growing up I wanted to be a nurse, so as I was taking classes in high school and college I oriented towards taking medical courses. I took anatomy and physiology, psychology, and biology of course. While having opted for a transition program after high to obtain my diploma. I ended up taking a more vocational approach to get my CNA skills and certification back in 2012 at Pikes Peak Community College. In doing so, I got the opportunity to work as a caregiver for a family member. Later in life, after having some mental health issues arise, I had taken the time to go on disability for a few years. Meanwhile I decided to attend a two year college program which essentially gave me the chance to get my certs for medical assisting. I became an CCMA after my externship, for up to a year before the Covid Pandemic. After experiencing another mental break, and with covid precautions I left the medical field for about two years. Working for hotel hospitality for one year, then warehouse production for a few months. In between those two jobs, I had had side hustles (as any millennial) of delivering food and then chauffeuring customer to and fro. Up until the present, I still desired returning to the medical field, in which case another fortunate opportunity had arisen. I opted for a sub-specialty for optometry career, as a clinical specialist.
