Each weekday morning Georgians wake up to join me for a mix of news and interviews on Morning Edition, with occasional video and podcast productions as well. We broadcast on 19 radio stations throughout Georgia and beyond at GPB.org.

Macon, Georgia Area

• Afternoon radio personality for GPB Macon’s All Things Considered from NPR News. Backup host for statewide broadcasts.
• Develop stories in Middle Georgia to contribute to GPB’s statewide network of 17 radio stations. My reporting has resulted in a marked increase in the number of stories featuring people in underrepresented groups.
• Develop content for website and news partner The Macon Telegraph.
• Emcee and appear at various community events to represent the GPB Macon brand.

Miami, Florida

• Co-managed the daily operation of the radio news department including execution of a daily news, information, and cultural content coverage plan, copy edit for 16 newscasts a day, and web content.
• Coordinated with other departments in the Miami Herald newsroom to develop and execute new ways to share content across various platforms.
• Introduced the idea of Spanish public radio. Produced WLRN-Miami Herald’s first Spanish public radio talk show for the web.
• Filed stories of national interest to NPR and other network programs.
• Technical manager for the department, accounting and human resource functions.
