I held several leadership positions with Limmud Atlanta + Southeast. Along with coordinating the leadership team, I spent several years planning programs, coordinating logistics and hospitality, and managing volunteers for 300+ participants at this 4-day festival of Jewish learning and celebration of culture. Organizing these large events requires my dedicated work ethic, strong sense of responsibility and excellent technology skills.

I managed and inspired a classroom of 22 4th graders each day. Only 42% of my students had passing scores in reading in the beginning of the schoolyear. By May, I had 84% of them passing the state mandated test.In addition to keeping and analyzing data to advance their academic career, I was part of their lives. Encouraging them to do their best was an everyday goal.

Coordinate and manage trips and activities around the Atlanta area and East coast for 7th-10th graders. Maintain a budget and safety of all teens. Update a weekly family communication letter and schedule meetings with parents when needed.

My experience in this position gave me a lot of knowledge about gangs, violence, homeless issues, and much more. I was able to see increases by up to 50 percentage points on state tests from the beginning of the schoolyear to the end. I also worked with the students to prevent them from making many bad choices including joining gangs. Additionally, I was team captain of Relay for Life. In this role I supervised a committee of 15 to plan events and fundraise $14,000 for The American Cancer Society.

Coordinated activities for up to 300 guests at various types of events. These included bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, company picnics, Sweet 16s, and much more.

I assisted in many classes including several 2s, 3s, and 4s. Teaching the children a foundation of skills to allow them to be successful as a student later on is a passion of mine. Helping to prepare the lessons before class and communicating with parents were also responbilities I had while teaching.I also served as a leader in the birthday party team. Supervising 2-3 other staff members, planning activities, and interacting with the children were some of my responsibilties.
