Since 1994 I have worked in client-facing roles while in marketing, account management, operations, sales, and business development. I enjoy working with clients to address their individual project and program needs. At Eastern Dentists Insurance Company I worked exclusively with dentists and dental students. For 4.5 years I attended conferences and events at 16 colleges and universities in 11 states on the East Coast. I produced new polices and assisted with underwriting new client applications. My primary focus was growing the business while increasing client retention. In 2020 I started working at Aflac Inc. Aflac is a Fortune 500 company, providing financial protection to more than 50 million people worldwide. When a policyholder or insured gets sick or hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fairly, promptly, and often in one day for eligible claims, directly to the insured (unless assigned otherwise). For more than six decades, Aflac voluntary insurance policies have given policyholders the opportunity to focus on recovery, not financial stress.Education: In 2009 I completed my master's degree in Business Administration from Framingham State University. I attended FSU for undergrad as well and I graduated with a BA (cum laude honors) in Communication Arts.Volunteer work/Mentoring:Each year I volunteer my time for a variety of fundraising events that support the Massachusetts Audubon Society (Drumlin Farm). I've volunteered at Drumlin Farm since 2000. I also volunteer as part of the events team for Drink [Craft] Beer (DCB). I served as mentor from 2009 until 2015 with the Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
