My career has allowed me to leverage things I really enjoy: people, my community and helping others. As a fraternal financial services organization, Modern Woodmen is rooted in helping others by offering financial guidance, enriching the lives of our families and supporting the communities we serve. I help serve our representatives and managers across the nation as they do this important work in their own communities. I enjoy public speaking and training and love all things digital, especially social media. Social media allows us to maintain and develop relationships in new exciting ways. My favorite part of my job is to help our field creatively solve problems and to help arm them with the best tools. The work they do inspires me - they protect families from the unexpected, help them retire comfortably and offer a wide range of services and advice.My favorite moments in my career have been when I have been able to serve my community. Whether at a coat drive or in the classroom teaching JA, Modern Woodmen encourages and supports me to serve others. Many of these opportunities allow me to involve my family, which is very important to me as a parent of two.I am also proud to run our Women's Symposium which is devoted to providing resources, tools and support to help our female representatives and managers succeed in their roles. Our program is tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities they face daily. This amazing community of women inspires me beyond measure.
