I work as one of the student managers, helping train the new Help Desk Technicians as well as work alongside them. Together we manage Emerson College's IT phone line to help troubleshoot account issues, and occasionally go on classroom runs to assist with in-class technology (i.e. projectors, desktops, audio, virtual guests)

I worked to help paint all of the sets for Emerson Stage theatre productions. I've worked with a variety of mediums besides paint, such as wallpaper, stenciling, joint-compound, etc. I've also learned a variety of paint techniques such as how to emulate marble and wood grain. I've also helped assist with fire-proofing the sets we paint by adding PA (flame retardant) in the paint we use. We usually worked to produce 9 different sets throughout a singular school year.

Worked heavily in excel spreadsheets logging supplier info. As well as conducting research to find information to complete supplier's profiles. I've gained a lot of experience with Workday in just the short time I was here.

At Ploughshares I helped to create/design branded materials including advertisements (print and digital), web banners, fliers, event invitations, signage, and mail campaigns. I also helped to format the upcoming summer 2022 issue, pre-InDesign. And worked to add the new authors from the upcoming issue to the Ploughshares site. As well as sitting in on staff meetings where I can get a better grasp on all the roles that keep a publisher running.

Retail associate at a quaint little chocolate shop. I tie lots of ribbons and make everything look cute! I had the opportunity to have hands on experience with the back-end of a business. I faxed invoices, shipped out orders, and made phones calls with and for customers.
