COVID-19: Nearly three years of experience as the Scientific Lead for Research & Evaluation, to inform and evaluate HHS's public education campaign through quantitative and qualitative research in which tens of thousands of participants completed surveys and interviews. Tobacco Regulatory Research: More than 6 years leading tobacco regulatory research with a focus on youth, communications, and marketing.HIV Prevention: More than 10 years of experience in sexual health and the prevention of HIV, with an emphasis on community-level HIV prevention among most at-risk populations (MARPs) and bridging populations. Social and Behavior Change Communication: Designed and implemented communication campaigns aimed at increasing healthy behaviors such as condom use, gender-based violence reduction, birth spacing, antenatal care utilization, family planning uptake. Led the development and implementation of behavior change communications using mass media, mid-media, and interpersonal communication channels (e.g. one-on-one outreach). Program Management: Experience implementing complex health portfolios of up to five programs and $6 million USD in difficult operating environments. Strong track record in building the capacity of local staff and implementing partners. Previously COR-III certified in the management of large-scale contracts for the American federal government. In-depth knowledge of FDA, HHS, USAID, Global Fund, Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, UNICEF, and Asian Development Bank practices and regulations.
