I design and facilitate programming to support grantmakers across Minnesota be more effective in fostering prosperity and equity in communities. In this role, I direct the strategic development of the Hubert Project, a global initiative building e-learning materials for use in public affairs classrooms and nonprofit and public sector training. E-Learning Material Development*Advise the development of new e-learning materials from an instructional design and adult learning perspective. Management & Supervision*Lead engagement of advisory board including associate deans from partner schools, faculty, and teaching specialists. *Manage a part-time employee and five graduate research assistants in producing digital learning materials.Training Design and Facilitation*Designed and facilitated trainings for over 40 faculty and technologists from 12 Universities across Africa in case study methodology and the development of digital case studies. *Plan, facilitate and manage technical logistics for virtual trainings. Program Evaluation*Manage implementation of program evaluation strategy for initiative, including developing surveys, phone interview protocol and web analytics dashboard.Communications*Develop and maintain external website, coordinating with web vendor and tracking analytics. *Implement communications and marketing strategy for 300 active initiative participants and engagement of new audiences. Fund Development*Oversee $225,000 annual operating budget and raised over $700,000 in philanthropic funds.*Cultivate new relationships with philanthropic and academic institutions to ensure sustainability of initiative.

I reviewed current contracting processes and workflows to streamline and articulate expectations for a new internal Salesforce relationship management & workflow database. I conducted a marketplace scan of board-volunteer matching services nationally to improve MAP's programming.

As Associate Program Officer at Northwest Area Foundation, I supported the efforts of people, organizations, and communities over an eight-state region to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable prosperity. Specific accomplishments included: *Developed evaluation metrics for $5 million budget focused on workforce development and contributed to cross-functional team developing an evaluation framework for Foundation’s comprehensive grant portfolio. *Designed regional gathering for 50 grantees focused on asset and workforce development. *Led cross-functional team in requirements gathering for relationship management technology solution.

As Project Associate for KAL, I served on a dynamic team of 3 employees designing and implementing a capacity building initiative helping grantees of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation develop their management and financial acumen. In this role, I actively participated in the design and implementation of all aspects of the project including communications, evaluation, service delivery, and reporting. Most importantly, I served as first-line communicator with over 1,500 eligible organizations and over 200 affiliated consultants across the United States. I also served as a liaison with external consultants, advisors, and partners. To ensure effective communications and seamless service delivery, I oversaw the support systems for this project, including both a public website and a private SharePoint collaborative site as well as both a resource and a consultant database. As our services developed, my position evolved into that of a grants manager for a budget of over $4 million. I helped initially develop the grantmaking program, and continued to make it more effective. Most notably, I collaborated with an external consultant to configure Salesforce for grants management as well as an office-wide constituent relationships management (CRM) solution.

I served as Member Programs Fellow through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps, a year-long national volunteer service program dedicated to uniting faith, social justice, intentional community, and simple and sustainable living.In this position, I executed and coordinated complex projects and programs in conjunction with executive and senior management to strengthen women's foundations across the world. These programs included an 8-month fundraising training, online evaluation tool trainings, an annual conference and other day-to-day member services. I also managed, fostered partnerships, and wrote action alerts for Women Without Borders, an anti-violence advocacy campaign involving 30,000 online community members.
