My starting role within Carpetright was as a part time sales adviser. Meeting a variety of customers, I was able to fine tune my communication skills to help provide the correct product for the customer’s needs. I quickly went on to become an Assistant Manager where I was more collaborative with senior stakeholders in the company. Through this experience it became transparent that I work well under pressure, able to quick action problem solve, engage staff and bring satisfaction to all customers needs. As my Abilities grew, I was presented with the opportunity to become a Designate Store manager and head to the south coast and tailor my experience to stores and staff who needed the boost outside of the comfort zone of my home region. As the company went through a restructure, I was brought back home to become a Fixed Store Manager. This has given me the sight of working with a fully capable team and ensuring it continued success grew form strength to strength.
