For the past eight years I've worked as a senior designer for Holiday Extras. I managed a design team of four, working in partnership with the UK's leading theme parks including: LEGOLAND, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World and Warwick Castle. My role involved overseeing the design team and brand consistency, Website design and development, designing and hand-coding responsive emails, HTML5 display advertising, remarketing and affiliate banner creation and various print projects (including national advertising and promotion). I also undertook managerial training, attended multiple work conferences and liaised with clients.Prior to this I worked as a freelance designer and musician (signed to Universal Publishing). During this period, I spent my time divided by playing/touring and recording music; and working as a freelance graphic designer. It was through designing for my band and other artists, that I became involved in design. Finding it to be a true passion of mine and one that I would decide to make a career from.On a personal note: I’m very family orientated, passionate, enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated and hard working. I love socialising and going to the gym. I’m also Vegan and have a great love for animals.I love all aspects of art and design; From graphic design and coding, to illustration, portrait drawing, oil painting and mural painting. Being able to work freelance gives me the opportunity to drive my creativity in new directions and work on projects that inspire me.
