As a trained artist, I have a passion for making things look great. When my brother asked me to turn my creative eye towards his website, I learned that web and graphic design is a wonderful platform for bringing beauty and creativity into people's lives, not just those interested in the fine arts. Not only does this field apply to my visual side, but I love putting my creativity to use in logical problem solving through code. I view the web in terms of the user experience, and try to make that experience rich and unique, both through visual design and user interaction.Over the past few years I've developed my web design skills through my evolving roles as production assistant, content producer, senior designer, and project manager. I'm experienced with HTML5, CSS3, the Adobe Suite, and Liquid for Shopify. I've also been known to modify a PHP loop or two.My experience in the industry has solidified my belief that design matters, not only as a means of visual representation, but also to aide the user in accomplishing their needs. Design must work hand in hand with functionality to create an experience that is intuitive, no matter how unique.
