-Tutor middle- and high school-aged students for SSAT, SAT, and ACT testing, specifically in English and Reading-Proctor practice tests in accordance with College Board Guidelines

-Completed academic course in tutoring and writing techniques-Paid tutor for undergraduate students in academic writing, graduate school applications, and medical school proposals

Canoeing and hiking instructor in on-campus outdoors club. Leads a Pre-Orientation trip for incoming freshmen in the summer, as well as canoeing and hiking trips each semester. Trained in leadership, team-building, trip paperwork, wilderness first aid, and swift water rescue.

-Organized task forces, edited proposals for San Francisco Health Commission, researched demographic information -Spearheaded an initiative to identify differences in health indicators in San Francisco districts-Assisted in collective impact meetings for the San Francisco Health Improvement Partnership (SFHIP)-Attended lecture series about HIV in San Francisco (SF SHARP)

Organize and execute philanthropic events for over 200 people, fundraising directly for the Alpha Phi Foundation that benefits women's heart health. Raised over $4,000 in spring of 2013.
