At my very first magazine gig, I held the positions of publisher, creative director, editor, and senior writer, as well as director of art, production, and marketing. I was 13 years old, and I got those credentials thanks to my imagination and a teal iMac G3 with a color printer. At that age, all I wanted was to become editor-in-chief of a magazine in New York. And when I got into brand & content Marketing at Trello (888 Broadway, NYC), I was elated! I had achieved that dream. Then, that trajectory led to team management, adding on Enterprise & Growth Marketing disciplines, Head of Product Marketing for Trello and now, leading product marketing for Cisco's Emerging Tech products. As part of Cisco's ET&I leadership team, I am guiding product and business strategy, goals, vision, and culture for hundreds of people. And the thing is, I feel like I’m just getting started.Positioning and messaging, voice of the customer representation, content, brand & SEO, social media, email & video, lead generation and leading business growth on a global scale are all part what I help my team to accomplish every day. In other words, product marketing has taken my 13-year-old self’s scope of what’s possible at the intersection of story, communication, and technology, stuffed it all into a rocket full of glitter, and blown that firework fiesta into orbit.
