About Leah Dunn, Esq.
I am originally from Santa Barbara and graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.S.B.A. in marketing and entrepreneurship & strategy management, as well as a certificate in the business of sports. After CU Boulder, I went on to graduate with my M.A. in Sports Administration from Northwestern University. Most recently, I graduated from California Western School of Law with my Juris Doctor and I am currently awaiting my results from the July 2024 California Bar Exam. I am extremely passionate about sports, business, and law, and would like to enter a career that allows me to pursue all three. I am well versed in several computer programs including Excel, StatPlus, Powerpoint, and Word. During my college career, I was highly involved in extracurricular activities to help prepare me for a career. I was part of the Leeds Ambassadors. This program is a collaboration of student leaders organized to represent and add value to the Leeds School of Business and its students by actively striving to develop and enhance the school's reputation. Furthermore, I worked for USA Rugby Trust in Lafayette, Colorado as a Communications Intern. My daily activities ranged anywhere from creating newsletters for former players or sending out acknowledgment letters. During my time at USA Rugby Trust, I also learned how to code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Most recently in my position as the Corporate Partnerships intern for the Detroit Pistons, I participated in over 20 contract reviews and input over 1,000 assets into Salesforce to help achieve our goal of obtaining over $3.5 million in renewals from partners. During my tenure at California Western School of Law, I was involved in the entertainment and sports law society, and I continue to focus on enhancing my legal skills within the sportscape and beyond.I hope to eventually find a career that truly suits my passions and my skill set, and if that means moving thousands of miles to a different state or different country, I am more than willing to pack up my stuff and hit the road. I have to be passionate about what I'm doing or else I won't be doing my best work. Feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn messaging or through my personal e-mail, leahsdunn24@gmail.com with any opportunities or inquiries.
