My responsibilities have run the gamut; from PR/AR, planning product launches and managing company spokespeople, to more hands-on initiatives, like building a trade show portfolio, writing and editing copy, and launching new web properties from inception to go-live. My primary responsibility has been managing our relationship with an active and vocal developer community; this focuses heavily on social media strategy, crafting the appropriate company voice and adding concrete value, rather than merely moderating and commenting.In my time at Engine Yard my efforts have increased traffic to our web properties by 70x, grown our Twitter audience by 15x and boosted RSS traffic by 10x. User engagement across all mediums is unusually high, and our audience is incredibly well qualified, which translates into a quicker and simpler sales funnel.
