I'm an assistant professor of UX design at Western Kentucky University. ✨ I believe we can design an intuitive, inclusive, and impactful future for all. ✨Previously, I served as the Faculty Advisor for the Emerging Media Masters at the University of Georgia's New Media Institute. I taught front-end web development, UX strategy, new media design, social media topics, and various other courses centered around digital engagement. I guided graduate students from admissions to graduation and beyond; when I wasn't teaching or advising, you could find me overseeing the New Media Institute's communications. I still teach remotely at UGA part-time during the summer months.Before serving in the classroom, I worked in higher education public relations/design, traveling across the state of Georgia for the University of Georgia's Office of Public Service and Outreach. This position opened my eyes to how higher education can build community capacity through authentic partnerships.
