I’m an experienced global health leader motivated by a deep desire to understand, and to connect across seemingly intractable divides. My career includes two parallel and complementary paths: scaling high-impact nonprofits and conducting research centered on systems and structures, in service of building better ones. My nonprofit experience has focused on mental health, reproductive health, and justice initiatives. My research includes how US foreign policy changes have impacted women's political participation in the Middle East, and models bringing together US government services and indigenous healing practices to address PTSD.
