My core focus is to positively impact the lives of others. I am a self-starter, highly motivated, positive person who is wired to work hard and make an impact. I spent the first decade of my career dedicated to People and Culture. I have had the opportunity to work in multiple settings including start-ups, non-profits, education, healthcare and for-profit organizations. Through these experiences, I have developed advanced skills in human resources, people development, project management, recruitment, onboarding, relationship building, fundraising and leadership. I have had the privilege of leading, coaching and managing people from full-time team members to interns. I began my career working in the Talent Assessment and Engagement industry. Gaining in-depth knowledge on talent identification and consulting other organizations on how to select and develop talent while creating a culture individuals could thrive in. From there, I took the expertise I had gained and applied it in a traditional Human Resources Manager role and then as a Search Consultant. Leveraging my experience to help people find their vocation and helping leaders build their dream team of talented individuals who made a positive impact on their organization and mission, was meaningful work. In 2021, I left the People and Culture space as I felt the calling to utilize my talents in a different capacity. My career aspiration is to become a world-class fundraising professional. I am thrilled to be a part of the University of Nebraska Foundation as the Director of the DXO Program which is our Annual Leadership Giving team. In addition to DXO, I have the privilege of leading our "Gift Academy" which is an comprehensive onboarding training program for new development officers. At the Foundation we are able to take over 86 years of service and expertise to match the dreams of our donors and friends with life-changing and life-saving programs that impact Nebraska, our country, and our world. I am driven to serve the Foundation's mission of growing relationships and resources that enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives.
