I collaborate with functional leaders, institutional units, and subject matter experts to develop and implement processes that support Batten's mission. My responsibilities include documenting system requirements, creating training materials, and conducting user acceptance testing for IT development, software integration, and configuration projects. Acting as a liaison between business and technology, I leverage creative problem-solving, effective communication, and attention to detail. I manage and configure key systems, including the Batten Salesforce instance, overseeing profile management, user management, workflows, data imports, new development, and email tools. I possess a working knowledge of native and exchange modules that integrate with Salesforce, such as Marketing Cloud, Conga, and FormAssembly. I proactively identify and resolve data issues and day-to-day support problems. With fully developed technical skills and emerging advanced skills, I tackle complex tasks independently and devise methods to execute assignments. I perform long-term, non-routine assignments with minimal supervision, seeking guidance for significant deviations or unprecedented challenges. I develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and clinical productivity related concepts and techniques for departmental and division financial planning and control. I coordinate with many levels of UPG, the University and UVA Health System leadership to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial performance, future requirements, operating forecasts, and other financial & productivity related matters. My work provides specialized technical analysis to assess present and future financial & clinical related performance for the department. I serve as the subject matter expert, for a variety of topics & institutional initiatives across UVA.

I plan, organize, evaluate, develop and manage the configuration for storage, process of collection and reporting of pediatric mission focused data. I lead the design and deployment, to internal users (300+), of both the UVA Pediatrics Salesforce EDA Sales Cloud and Salesforce Experience, which is named PEDS PORTAL. I direct integration between Salesforce and other platforms critical to the management of faculty related data. I determine additional Salesforce related needs and identify and pursue solutions. I ensure availability, usability, and survivability of the Salesforce instance, including:-synching varied data types between multiple platforms-monitoring and safeguarding data integrity-facilitating training and information gathering sessions for all-troubleshooting issues and identifying solutions

Participate in the daily operation and overall function of computer, data, and technological operations for the Foundation. Uses MSSMS to develop and refine processes to maintain and enhance Foundation data. Provides report creation, data querying, and data analysis expertise for Foundation staff, Law School faculty/staff, alumni, donors, and external clients. Creates and delivers all bulk emails to donors/alumni (upwards of 250,000 emails annually). Participates in long-term planning and implementation of technology solutions. Expert level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Crystal Reports, Access, Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, cVENT, Millennium, iModules, EMMA, pdfExplode, and Adobe Acrobat.

Provided project management support to Senior Software Project Manager for a contractor for the US EPA. Duties included project planning, scheduling, budgeting and reporting using Microsoft Project, quality assurance of PQA developed software applications, and other technical assignments as appropriate to include Crystal Reports report writing.

Provided technical, postmaster, web, and database support for the offices of Development and Alumni Relations. Served as liaison between these offices and Darden CTS, Edulink, Alumni Career Services and other internal clients as well as alumni and outside clients. Troubleshot and evaluated computing problems, provided recommendations for systems and process improvements, data analysis and data reporting of multiple databases, performed postmaster duties with regards to Alumni Relations mailbox, and created and delivered all mass email using WorldCast. Designed and implemented utility integrating two databases. Created and managed Darden event RSVP process using Access.

Provided administrative and technical support to Vice President for Development and Director of Major Gifts. Developed and implemented a new process to acknowledge all gifts to Darden.

Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of event & program delivery (16 week long programs annually) – dining, lodging, transportation, off grounds events, and technical and classroom support. Contracted vendors for various needs.

Progressed through management roles quickly based on performance and results. Performed a variety of restaurant management duties including staffing, training, budgeting, and menu creation and design. Overhauled departmental POS system and implemented the consequential training. Designed, edited and implemented the use of cross-departmental training manual.

Participated in all aspects of Club Management including staffing, menu planning, budgeting, food and beverage acquisitions, membership, golf, tennis, and facilities.
