Increased awareness of career options in schools in 5 counties through a grant funded program developed through a partnership between Michigan Works! and area ISDs (schools). Expanded the use of state mandated Educational Development Plans through development of lesson plans leading students through career exploration starting in 5th grade and continuing into high school. Increased awareness of lesser known means of obtaining a career, such as apprenticeships and trade schools, through lesson plans and career fairs/ educational events.

Taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Chemistry, and Physical Science. Provided weekly tutoring outside of school hours.

Launch Manistee is a nonprofit cradle to career initiative working to create a culture of education in Manistee county. Below are some of the projects pushing towards this goal and how I have been involved with them:• Coordinated Career Expo with Chamber of Commerce and 30+ local businesses introducing 400 students to career/educational options.• Developed County-wide College Readiness Asset Map for local use and grant writing purposes.• Assisted 6 local high schools with College Application Week with 93.5% participation across Manistee County.• Developed scholarship directory for Manistee County students. • Coordinated semester-long job shadowing experiences for students. • Developed preschool scholarship program and program materials.• Designed marketing materials to increase awareness and accessibility of Child Development and Care monies for childcare and/or preschool.

Remediated Trauma products to FDA specifications.Utilized geometric dimensioning and tolerance skills to correct engineering drawings and find compatibility of products.

Delivered Mobile Clinic to Ghana with interdisciplinary team and brought healthcare to 7 villages.Taught first aid and raised awareness of preventative medicine in remote villages.Led children’s camp in leadership, team building, sanitation practices, and science. Designed and created a conglomeration of Wiki pages for the continuum of knowledge and future project planning.
