I am an independently motivated individual, with practical and commercial experience who can be relied upon to contribute as an active team member. I enjoy meeting new challenges and have always maintained a high level of commitment to any project I have been involved with. Early in my working life I completed an apprenticeship in plastering, which provided me with skills I was able to employ throughout my career working at home and abroad.I continued in construction and related roles until I returned to full time education in 1997, successfully completing an "Access Modular Course" at the City of Bath College and gained a place at the University of Bristol and achieved a BSc Hons degree. During this period I also continued to work although mainly part-time in a variety of roles mainly customer led.I also am a qualified pub licensee and have successfully managed and held the license of a variety of public houses. My roles included all the day to day running of the business, the hiring of staff, team building, stock ordering, stock control, banking, health and safety, promotions.I also have experience as a tour guide. As an entertainment co-ordinator for a language school, I organised events and tours for students of various nationalities and age groups across the south of England and Wales, I was able to reprise this role as part of a heritage course in Dublin where I gave some walking tours and tours of some notable landmark sites.
