As the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Clinical Officer of Smart Counseling and Mental Health Center, I am proud to lead a facility that reflects my deep-rooted passion for mental health care. My journey in healthcare began in the medical field, with service in the U.S. Air Force and at the Veterans Affairs, which inspired me to pursue a career in counseling. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010.With over a decade of experience in mental health care, I have been committed to treating a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, couples, and families. My transition to private practice in 2017 marked the beginning of an ever-expanding mission. Today, Smart Counseling and Mental Health Center is home to a growing family of over 20 dedicated therapists and administrative staff, serving more than 400 patients. We offer both Telehealth and in-person therapy services in Murrieta, CA, and the surrounding areas.My specialty lies in treating trauma and its significant impact on various aspects of life. With extensive experience in addiction and substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, I employ evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).I understand that seeking help or taking the first step toward therapy can be challenging. At Smart Counseling and Mental Health Center, we strive to provide a supportive and understanding environment for every individual embarking on this journey. I am here to guide and support you, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach as you navigate your path to wellness.
