I was recommended for the degree by the assessment committee consisting of Professor John Woodley, Professor Gunnar Lidén and Dr. Benny Cassells.During my time as a graduate student i got the oppotunity to work with: Mathematical modeling of bio-processes (mechanistic and data driven), Genome scale metabolic modeling, Experimental identification of key process variables and validation experiments on laboratory, pilot and industrial scale equipment, Data analytics of large data sets, Statistical sensitivity and uncertainty quantification, Programming in Matlab, Finite volume methods to solve partial differential equations and Model predictive control (among other things).

My work included but was not limited to: Upstream processes, pilot scale process optimization, draft of SOPs, research on mixing and mass transfer in loop bioreactors, pilot plant maintenance, process documentation.My position ended when I entered into a industrial PhD collaboration with my then employer.
