I am a sports physiotherapist and manual therapist from The Netherlands and currently live in Australia. I completed my undergraduate physiotherapy degree in 2010 and I've worked in private physiotherapy practice ever since. I completed my master of science degree in Manual Therapy in 2014 and in Sports Physiotherapy in 2017. I recently completed my ASCA level 1 Strength and Conditioning course. I've focused on the treatment and management of sports injuries and treatment of (persistent) low back pain. I've witnessed over thirty orthopedic surgery procedures. My girlfriend and I moved to Australia in 2018 where I started working in a private Physiotherapy practice and as a research volunteer at the Body in Mind research group at the University of South Australia. My fields of interest are sports-related injuries on both the upper and lower extremities, persistent pain, and lower back pain.
