Directly oversees the management of the Office of the Dean of Students (DoS) and the five functional units – Community Standards (student conduct), Disability Access & Inclusion Student Services (DAISS), Off-Campus Student Services, Supplemental Support Services (essential needs and resources), and Veteran and Military Student Services. Along with these functional units, supervises the Assistant Deans and Coordinators who manage the Campus Hearing Boards, DAISS Testing Program, Off-Campus Community Outreach, Purple Pantry, Purple Threads, Student Emergency Fund, and the Veteran’s Lounge for the University at Albany. Directly supervises the DoS Administrative Assistant. Direct oversight and supervision of the financial budgets (State, DIFR, IFR) allocated to the DoS units, with some oversight of Foundation accounts. Creates and improves policies and procedures for the DoS units.Students of Concern Committee, Chair - this committee meets weekly to determine appropriate interventions for students in crisis or with unique needs/circumstances. In this role, I manage all reports regarding students in distress, student injuries, suicidal ideations/self-harm reports, those who have experienced significant loss, and other significant incidents and cases.Volunteers as the Chair of the Self-Reliant Scholars Taskforce (this committee creates policies for foster youth, orphans, and Wards of the State at UAlbany).Faculty mentor for the World of Leadership L-LC.Faculty in Educational Policy and Leadership program, teaching Leadership.

2007 - 2015:Managed the three Apartment complexes, which housed 2,100 upper-classmen and graduate students. Developed policies and procedures related to University Apartments Programming, Staff Development, and Administrative specialty areas. Directly supervised four Apartment Coordinators, seven Graduate Assistants, and twenty-five Housing Managers, overseeing recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, evaluation, and staff disciplinary action. Managed an operating budget of over $450,000 and a programming budget of $12,000. Responsible for communicating with Facilities Management regarding upgrades, preventative maintenance, and damage billing assessments. Coordinated Apartments Housing Sign-up, summer conference housing, and summer school housing. Served as the chief disciplinary administrator, adjudicating upper-level infractions, serving as a hearing board officer, and determining appropriate lower-level judicial sanctions for residents who met with the Apartment Coordinators.2015-2016:Managed all professional and student staff Human Resources paperwork and oversaw the Work-Study, Graduate Assistant, and student staff hiring processes. Led several projects related to refining and enhancing Departmental operations.
