I currently work in a dermatology clinic that primarily focuses on removing skin cancers using a method developed by Dr. Fredric E. Mohs called Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Our clinic has begun removing Melanoma cases and using the Mart-1 stain to clear them.On a daily basis I cut frozen sections of skin samples using a Leica CM1860UV cryostat.Stain slides using H&E reagents on a ski stainer.Manually stain slides using MART-1 antibody.Routinely I revise and create new operating procedures for the laboratory.Annually I attend the American Mohs Society for Histotechnology (ASMH) conference.
