As a service technician I served costumers with residential and light commercial HVAC systems.My duties included performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and replacing parts. I was able to learn from experienced technicians and my boss was a very good and patient teacher.My role as an HVAC Service Technician included:Understand costumer’s needs and provide the best solution.Perform regular maintenance tasks such as system tuneups and replacing filters.Inspecting and testing HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly.System tests such as Static Pressure, Subcooling, Superheat, Delta T, Gas valve pressure.

I was promoted from delivery driver for HVAC parts to learning the trade as an apprentice.After months of working with lead installers and service technicians I was able to do installations by myself. I was reading a bunch of books, watching videos and listening podcasts about HVAC all day long. I continued to learn and grow, within a year I had my own van and a helper.
