Going into the fourth year of my academic journey, I seek experiences and challenges that build the foundation I need to succeed early on in my career. With a background as an Accounting Clerk at DGM Florida, I've had the opportunity to refine my skills in fundamental administrative tasks surrounding accounting. Throughout my time at this small company, I developed a keen eye for detail as I created and paid hundreds of invoices, and reported sales taxes on a monthly basis that allowed the company to operate smoothly on the financial side. My journey in higher education is marked by seven Future Business Leaders of America awards on both the state and national level across various fields of business including accounting, sales, and economics. One of the most impactful experiences for me has been holding leadership positions in Future Business Leaders of America and Phi Theta Kappa. Being able to lead a talented group of 15 individuals to win the Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit, and providing scholarship opportunities for 50+ members allowed me to sharpen my organizational and interpersonal skills and instilled in me a sense of responsibility, collaboration, and adaptability.Eager to bring these growing values to new endeavors, I am excited to explore opportunities where I can make a meaningful impact and contribute to the success of a dynamic team or organization.
