Since November 2017 I have been the Executive Director of Fundación Huésped (www.huesped.org.ar), an Argentine organization with a regional scope that, since 1989, has been working in areas of public health with the aim of ensuring that the right to health and the control of diseases are guaranteed. Our comprehensive approach includes the development of research, practical solutions, and communication linked to public health policies in our country and in the region. From that position, I coordinate a work team of more than 200 people who carry out scientific research and actions for the prevention and promotion of rights to guarantee access to health and reduce the impact of diseases with a focus on HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, vaccine-preventable diseases and other communicable diseases, as well as sexual and reproductive health.

From 2003 to October 2017, I was Director of the Director of Communication and Institutional Development of Fundación Huésped (between 1998 and 2003 I worked as Communication Coordinator). In this position, I was in charge of developing communication strategies, both those aimed at the general population and those developed for specific audiences, as well as strategies for seeking financing through national and international cooperation, individual donors and companies and fundraising events.Over the years I have led projects such as the calendars made together with the photographer Gaby Herbstein (2003-2006), in which photos showed different celebrities in a prevention message; Preventoons (2004), HIV prevention cartoon for primary school age children; Cortos que animan [Animating Shorts] (2006), a cartoon series for young people; as well as eight fiction specials on the subject (2006-2013) to be originally broadcast by Channel 13 of Buenos Aires.I have also supervised the publication of communication materials in the framework of HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health promotion projects aimed at vulnerable communities due to social determinants in different municipalities of the Buenos Aires suburbs and other areas of Argentina.Since 2009, as part of the tasks carried out at Fundación Huésped, I have also directed the Regional Secretariat of the Latin American Media Initiative on AIDS (IMLAS, www.imlasida.org), a Latin American coalition of radio and television companies gathered to strengthen and increase the contribution of the media in the response to HIV.
