Leandro do C. Martins holds a Ph.D. in Network and Information Technologies, as well as a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science, with the latter focusing on Computational Intelligence and Optimization research areas. Over the past few years, he has been involved in developing analytical tools to address complex business challenges. Currently, he is a part of the Centre of Excellence at Sanofi España in Barcelona, where he plays a crucial role in demand planning forecasting. Before joining the industry, he was deeply involved in applied research and prescriptive analytics, particularly in developing approximate methodologies like metaheuristics to solve large and complex Combinatorial Optimization problems.
