As a Technology Executive Leader in banking and financial services, I led high-performing teams and developed innovative solutions. While leading high-performing technology teams, I also served as Delivery Leader for other disciplines like DevOps, Data Engineering, Mobile, and Quality Assurance, ensuring seamless collaboration across these teams to achieve unified delivery excellence.I oversaw a team of nearly 200 professionals driving success across XP's credit and debit cards, Open Finance initiatives, retail and wholesale digital banking platforms, and a global dollar debit account solution.I spearheaded strategic initiatives to achieve key objectives, including ensuring high system availability (reaching four-nines uptime for core systems), mitigating internal risks and cybersecurity threats, strengthening fraud prevention controls, managing a multi-million BRL budget efficiently, and driving an evolving digital transformation strategy that went beyond simply upskilling the team.

I spearheaded the launch of a new bank in Brazil, developing a technology strategy compliant with Central Bank regulations. My team and I defined the solution architecture for products, presenting concepts and strategies to senior leaders. We secured the operating license in Q4 2019 and launched our first credit product (facilitating early redemption of investment funds) that same year.Subsequently, we rapidly expanded our team to create a competitive digital account (offering balance inquiries, statements, Pix – Brazil's instant payment system – integration, bill payments, etc.) and a diverse credit portfolio (including over 10 collateralized credit products).I managed a team of approximately 150 people (engineers of all levels, engineering managers, and senior engineering managers) across various squads focused on credit products, credit risk, collateral, foreign exchange, and business transactional services.

As an engineering manager, I led a team that grew from 4 to 15 people within a year. We were responsible for core functions like checking accounts, internal cash management, the SPB (Brazil's payment network), settlements with external banks, fraud prevention, and credit collateral management.Recognizing the bank's rapid growth and future vision, I mentored several team members to become leaders in software architecture, agile methodologies, checking accounts, and credit. I successfully promoted two team members to engineering manager and one to software architect, all reporting to me.In addition, I took on product management and agile practices, collaborating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.My dedication was recognized in 2017 when I became a partner in the company. XP is unique in that approximately 10% of its employees are partners.

At XP, I streamlined back-office operations for custody, stock market, and checking accounts. I championed new technologies and agile methodologies, demonstrably improving delivery efficiency through proof-of-concepts.I presented a compelling case for implementing a new intranet to reduce system incidents and boost developer productivity. The project, which included a business presentation, technical architecture, and functional proof-of-concept, received approval from coordinators, managers, and the CTO, and was assigned a dedicated development team.I also led highly impactful brokerage projects, including the new fixed income platform, customer portal, automated payroll-linked investments, automatic customer debits, and the income tax report.Recognized for my informal leadership, technical expertise, commitment, and sense of urgency, I thrived in this dynamic environment.

I maintained a portfolio of internal products and the e-commerce platform for a small and medium business (SMB) segment, facilitating sales of internet and phone services.

I led the successful migration of the company's core product from ASP to .NET, improving performance and maintainability. This project involved in-depth learning of C#, .NET, and Reporting Services.My technical expertise and strong work ethic were recognized with a promotion and increased responsibilities. Beyond maintaining the core product, I developed interactive digital TV apps that enhanced user engagement with shows.
