I proactively prioritize and address problems across functional areas of the business.I oversee and manage vendors, contracts, and appropriate SLAs. I work with key shareholders to formulate a comprehensive technology plan that is consistent with the overall business objectives and budget.I'm always pursuing to apply broad knowledge of product/service capabilities to identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product/service opportunities. I also recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.In my role, I also facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within and outside of the organization. One of my current roles is to manage our cloud-hosting environment, at Oneneck (a TDS company), working closely to guarantee that our systems, applications, users, and business are always running and satisfied. We are talking about hundreds of servers, and dozens of databases, both running in VMWare and OVM, hosted on a private cloud, after migrating from their public cloud (One out of many projects that I managed to accomplish).
