My husband and I owned and operated a pipeline & oilfield construction company that we sold in January 2006.

Pipeline and oilfield construction, seasonal as a general laborer and then as a field clerk.

Assessed adult clients’ needs, participated in development of plan to meet those needs and optimize independence in community-based program for the developmentally disabled. Coordinated with co-workers, service providers in the community, potential employers of the clients, and family members or guardians of the clients to identify needs and available resources and periodically review progress.

Provided information and conducted tours of the facility to prospective residents and their family. Completed admission process for new residents and contributed to each residents’ on-going care meetings to ensure needs were identified and met within the facility’s regulation requirements and available resources. Coordinated with co-workers to facilitate the residents’ interactions with the staff, each other, their families, and the community. Quality customer service was key! Supervised, hired, trained and terminated employees in the dietary department. Improved compliance with Department of Health regulations.
