I am a licensed architect with an extensive educational background – a B.S. from The University of Virginia and a Master's in Architecture from Harvard University. While at UVA, I studied abroad in Vicenza, Italy and served as a Teaching Assistant for first and second year architecture students. At Harvard, I was chosen for a Teaching Assistantship that included a unique opportunity to teach an architecture program to middle school girls. As a result, I went on to design and teach a summer architecture program for high school students while attending Harvard. My passion for teaching led to community service projects, which included introducing inner-city children to architecture with the help of the Baltimore City Arts Council. After practicing as an architect for many years, I chose to follow my ultimate passion and commitment to education and pursue my career in educational leadership.
