Consult with Higher Education Institutions on Indirect Cost Rates and Service Centers.- Provide direct financial leadership and support for assessing allocation rates, composition of cost pools and for new allocations.- Work with Group and project finance teams to develop, administer, and implement policies, process improvements, methodologies, and cost allocations.- Prepare the annual incurred cost submission in real-time, reviewing for unallowable costs, and reconciling the submission to the general ledger.- Develop cost impacts for proposed changes to cost accounting practices.- Establish and assures adherence to schedules, work plans, project performance requirements, and deadlines.- Responsible for creating and maintaining very complex MS Excel spreadsheets including; modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc.- Provide training as needed to other teams within the institution related to government compliance.

We provide in-depth knowledge of university, state, and federal policies governing service/recharge centers, core facilities, and pass-throughs including rate development and reviewing transactions to ensure compliance. My responsibilities included space and equipment validation, identifying rental/lease payments on federal awards, and various cost allocations.Holds responsibility for completing Interdepartmental Eliminations, Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards, Net Asset Notes, and other various tasks as needed for the Universities Annual Financial Reporting.

My responsibilities include reviewing rate proposals for service centers across campus, creating/updating documentation for areas of responsibility, and providing monthly balance reviews to determine the financial health of all service center accounts. In addition, I assist with budget reviews by analyzing proposed budgets in comparison to historical data.

I was government contracted to analyze, interpret, and audit client submissions for occupancy rights and proposals with a high level of accuracy. I collaborated with a team to research and resolve discrepancies for a quality control program established to standardize processes for GSA.

My responsibilities included assisting with communications by answering the telephone, checking voicemails, and checking emails. I organized and reorganized files such as invoices and purchase orders, kept track of payments and deadlines (accounts receivables and payables), and reviewed payroll amounts.

I was responsible for registering potential GED and ESL students through verbal communication, benchmark testing, and data entry. I managed the number of hours each student completed of class time for progress testing. Other responsibilities included filing, organizing, grading, tutoring students, data analysis, inventory, and warehouse work.
