As the Co-founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Where FoodComes From, I am proud to be part of the leading provider of agricultural and foodcertification and sustainability solutions in the United States. With over 30 years ofexperience in the industry and an academic foundation in beef agriculture, I have dedicatedmy career to delivering value and enhancing market access for over 12,000 members of thefood and agricultural supply chain. My focus is on driving innovation through certification,verification, and sustainability solutions that promote transparency and trust in our foodsystem.In addition to my work at Where Food Comes From, I sit on the Colorado State University'sAgriculture Sciences Dean's Advisory Council, Agricultural Leadership Council, and Center for Meat Safety & Quality Tactical Advisory Committee. I received a Hall of Fame Award from Colorado State University in 2024, and their Livestock Leader Award in 2022. I act as a Board Advisor to the University of Nebraska's Engler Entrepreneurship Program, and to the International Stockman's Education Foundation. I'm proud to have held the Chair position for the United States Meat Export Federation Board of Directors in 2016. I’m actively involved with my family’s ranching and stocker operations, and remain part owner of the Mayfield Family Ranches in Playas, New Mexico.
