Ms. Weaver is a Senior Systems Analyst in the areas of database design and construction and systems analysis and development. She has over 30 years of experience in mainframe and microcomputer programming creating analytic data files for regulatory and policy analyses, with a majority of experience on IBM mainframes including the NIH mainframe and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Data Center. Her programming skills are complemented by her extensive experience with survey data. Much of her career has focused on the mainframe processing and linking of CMS claims, enrollment, provider, and survey data; and also recent work expanded as a .NET developer on the Coverage team.

As an Applications Programmer II at the Center for Naval Analyses, Ms. Weaver served as the statistical package consultant, being responsible for SAS, SPSS-X, IMSL, and LIMDEP on 3 VAX 11-785's. She also performed programming tasks such as cleaning , reformatting, and running statistical tests on data used in studies for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. She also used high level programming languages such as Fortran, Cobol, and PL/1. She also used graphics packages D-Pict B and SAS./Graph to create charts. She also learned VAX TPU when creating a SAS Language Sensitive Editor. Her work training included "Applications Programming using the SAS System" taught by the SAS Institute.

As an Economist GS 9 at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Ms. Weaver performed special research projects for the Consumer Price Index Division, which involved independent programming in SAS on the EDS IBM mainframe computer. She also participated in the professional review of the monthly Consumer Price Index and assisted in the coordination of the production process. She also used Tel-A-Graf to create computer graphics charts. Her work training included courses taught by Applied Technology Inc: "SAS Basics", "SAS Processing", "Superwylbur for Programmers", and "BLS Graphics Facilities".
