Providing personal care for assigned number of elderly residents with and without mental health concerns, dementia and alzheiners. Help with feeding, ambulating, ROM and other assigned assignments. Documentation of vital signs. Retaining a positive attitude.

Maintaining security in a cottage that is equipped to house up to 50 youths all male from ages 13-17. Providing supervision, escorts to and from the cottage, monitoring daily activities such as recreation times, room cleaning as well as personal cares. Providing positive role modeling and guidance to help maintain a positive atmosphere. Logging information into the computer and excellent verbal and written skills. Preparing disciplinary reports, conduct reports, as well as other information to assure information is passed from cottage to upper management.

Providing security and supervision of a treatment facility for violent sex offenders. Conducting pat searches. signing out patients to assigned areas, escorting patients to appointments when needed, supervision of units and rec fields, following policy and procedure and enforcing those policies with the patients, documenting behaviors that are not consistent with normal behavior and deescalating situations that may become violent. Trained as DOC but affiliated with the Department of Family Services.
