The Fullerton Collaborative is a cooperative of executive directors, educators, activists, community service leaders and volunteers dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community. As an alliance of non-profit organizations and individuals who enjoy making "good things" happen for the community, we are able to provide community assistance where we are needed most. Our unique partnership allows us to help each other accomplish goals. We encourage our members and the Fullerton Community to "Think Collaboratively."As the Board Chair, responsibilities include:-Leading bi-monthly board meetings which includes setting the agenda with contributions from the executive board-Co-lead monthly community meetings-Attend and speak at City Council meetings to advocate for policy or to promote awareness of the work the Fullerton Collaborative is doing in the city-Plan, direct and implement large events in the city, including the mayor's yearly state of the community and panel discussions for individuals running for city and county offices during election seasons-Plan, direct and implement community outreach projects

Responsibility Highlights:-Created and implemented year-round programming for 600+ clients and their families.-Produced and directed numerous yearly events and shows, managing all aspects, including (but not limited to) booking venues, ticketing, marketing, costuming, artistic direction, technical direction, safety protocols, staff management and MC for numerous events.-Managed costumer service relationships with clients and their families, including holding student/parent meetings.-Lead instructor/coach for weekly classes and competitive teams.

Manage 25+ employees and executed the following responsibilities in this position: -All hiring protocol including OSHA Safety Training and Implementation, Creating, Training and Implementing Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, Creating, Training and Implementing Child Abuse/Molestation Risk Management and Reporting Program, Workers Compensation Rights Training, Administered and Managed Employee Background Checks-Monthly Payroll and Year End W2/1099 Reporting-Conducted Yearly Staff Reviews, including Professional Development Goal Setting-Create and Manage all Staff Files and Documentation

Responsibility Highlights:-Set financial goals for the business and managed all restricted funds and profits. -Produced monthly accounting reports (to be reviewed by partners), tracking all profit/loss metrics. -Manage all accounts payable including payroll.-Manage QuickBooks accounting and all communications with CPA for annual tax return filings.-Manage resale sellers permit account and quarterly tax payments to CDTFA.-Manage business license and professional affiliation renewals.

Directed and implemented on site dance class programming at preschool and afterschool care facilities throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties.

The Classic Fullerton Ballroom is located in the historic Williams Building in downtown Fullerton, California. Built in 1927, this venue has special charm and elegance of days gone by. The art-deco style is perfect venue for banquets, wedding receptions, birthday parties, quinceañeras, anniversary parties, holiday parties, and special events of all types. Along with private parties, our venue is an excellent location for corporate and business meetings, training seminars, workshops and video/photoshoots.Responsibility Highlights:-Facilities Manager-Managed all inquiries, consultations and event booking sales, including the building and managing of online marketing platforms Peerspace and Giggster-Performed event coordination and day of coordination duties, including booking vendors and managing complete event details-Attend professional development training and member of Orange County Wedding Professionals

Led a local initiative to create, fund and implement work force development programs for at-risk teens and emerging adults. Under my leadership, non-profits worked in collaboration to create programming that was approved by the Fullerton Unified High School District to be implemented in their multi-district continuation school. This programming was also offered for free to all teens and emerging adults throughout the city in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton. Over 200 "unique interactions", most of them being long-term, were made as a result of this project, with the goal of future employment as the driving force of our endeavors. This programming also received funding from a Community Development Block Grant for our second year or work.
