Areas of supervision included: Student Success Centers (academic advising for deciding students and health-related fields, career services, disability services, retention and student success, writing services, academic support, first-year reading, and first-year transition courses), Campus Recreation, Student Involvement Center (student activities, Greek life, residential learning communities, leadership programs, student union, student organizations and orientation); Center for Service and Community Engagement; and Web and Media. Provide budget oversight for $4 million. Serve as a Title IX Deputy Coordinator. Key accomplishments:*Engaged in campus-wide leadership related to student retention, persistence and completion. The University experienced an increase in first to second year student retention from 82% to 91.5% in the ten-year span.*Led the establishment of two Student Success Centers. Collaborated with representatives of Academic Affairs, Student Development, and Enrollment Management to define vision, oversee construction, determine organizational structure, hire and train staff, develop campus marketing campaign, and facilitate ongoing assessment. Student utilization of services more than doubled.*Envisioned and implemented strategic first-year retention initiative, including establishing a team of Student Success Coaches to utilize predictive analytics to frame individualized intervention with at-risk students. Success indicators included higher retention and GPA for at-risk students who met with a Coach.*Led, under broad direction of Academic Affairs, a University-wide reorganization of undergraduate academic advising, aligned with each academic college.

Administered 55 sections of University 101 first-year seminar course (1-credit), annually enrolling 1,000 students, including selection, training, and advising of 55 primary and 55 peer instructors, as well as developing curriculum, grading scales, and classroom materials for all classes to utilize. Supervised one full-time Coordinator of Transition Programs.
