As a co-op student, I participated in the development of research on the pre-clinical detection of Alzheimer’s Disease by determining the eligibility of participants and coordinating study procedures. I contributed to the recruitment of over 50 participants by initiating the screening, neuropsychological assessment, and testing of older adults with subjective memory concerns. The most rewarding part of this experience was having the opportunity to support participants throughout each step of the process while contributing to the development of a screening tool that could pre-clinically detect Alzheimer's Disease.
