The environment and how it's been treated by humans have recently become hot topics as environmental activism gained traction on popular media. More people are starting to address concerns about the world around them, and I'm interested in finding solutions to the problems that we face. With a background in civil engineering, my passion has always been cultivated in the environmental field while simultaneously branching out to related fields to round out my foundation.I have earned my bachelor of science in civil engineering with a specialty in water and the environment with a minor in project management. Throughout my educational career, I have developed technical skills when it comes to lab research, gained familiarity with different softwares that can be used in the field such as Microstation, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD, and studied multiple categories under the large umbrella that civil and environmental engineering form. Through group projects and different job experiences, I've found that I work well in teams and will always provide support where needed. I believe that communication and organization are my strong suits, and I will always bring those skills to the table.Whatever is trending, my roots are in the fundamentals of environmental science. I have chosen to impact the world in a positive manner through civil and environmental engineering. I have a strong foundation in what I've learned, and I adapt well to changes and different opportunities that come my way. I always strive to learn more and be a part of something bigger than myself.
