At Rushcliffe School, I am responsible for delivering consistently good and outstanding lessons where students make sustained and rapid progress. It is also my responsibility to ensure that opportunities are taken to include literacy and numeracy in my lessons.As part of the music department, I am subject leader for BTEC music which involves ensuring that teaching staff are delivering the programme correctly, that all paperwork is completed and that students reach or better their target grades.I have also written several schemes of work for my department which are being taught my other members of staff.One of my other responsibilities has been to deliver sessions to our school and feeder primary schools on music on the curriculum and how to deliver outstanding lessons.
