I am highly motivated, work well as part of a team and have a caring personality with some excellent work experience. Along the way I have learnt to plan my days by prioritising my workload and communicating effectively with my team to make sure my patients feel looked while ensuring their privacy, dignity, rights, and choices are maintained at all times, including keeping patients information confidential. I can keep calm in challenging situations and can de-escalate situations. I have an excellent phone manner and great IT skills which I gained in college and working at my current job. I have also taken on another job 1 day a week with this is my healthcare to get clinical experience in diagnostic imaging (ultrasound). I am compassionate and attentive and committed to providing care and support to people because I want to make a difference in their lives. I have worked on a vascular ward for the NHS and have done a lot of training which includes cannulation, venepuncture and ECGs. I am currently working all over the hospital on bank/part time and I am doing this while looking after my daughter and doing a full time degree at open university. I always follow the trusts policies and procedures and I can fill out a datix if any accidents/incidents occur. I get my flu jab done every year to stay protected and have my immunisation information to hand including my online DBS check. I am up to date with my hepatitis B injections, and I’ve had my FIT test done. Fully vaccinated from Covid-19.
